What is Crisis Stabilization?
Inpatient crisis stabilization for ages 5–17 provides round-the-clock care in a safe, structured environment when a child or teen is experiencing severe emotional or behavioral distress. This short-term level of care focuses on immediate safety, calming the crisis, and understanding what the child needs to stabilize.
Our team of licensed clinicians, nurses, and psychiatrists provides continuous monitoring, therapeutic support, and medication management when appropriate. Families are included every step of the way, and once the crisis has passed, the team helps create a clear plan for ongoing treatment and support at home or in a less intensive setting.
