What is PHP?

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured day program for kids and teens ages 8 to 17 who need extra support with their mental and emotional health—but don’t need to stay in the hospital overnight. Carrus Care participants attend the program during the day, Monday through Friday, and go home in the evenings.

What is IOP?

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a step down from the PHP level of care. It is designed to help children and teens ages 8 to 17 ease back into their daily lives . At Carrus Care participants keep the same schedule as PHP – reinforcing skills and tools that will help them find balance and healing in difficult situations.
